We provide infrastructure support when custom development or data projects require it. This isn't standalone IT support - it's hands-on infrastructure work bundled with software development, surveillance, or NAS deployments.

Network Configuration

Network configuration for data-intensive projects requires more than plugging in cables. We configure managed switches with VLANs to isolate traffic — keeping surveillance camera streams separate from business network traffic, or dedicating bandwidth for NAS-to-server communication. Firewall rules are set up to restrict access to sensitive infrastructure while allowing necessary application traffic. For projects involving large data transfers, we plan bandwidth allocation to prevent storage operations from starving other network services. Every configuration is documented with network diagrams, IP assignments, and VLAN mappings so your IT team can maintain and troubleshoot the setup after we hand it off.

Server Installation

Server installation covers the full process from unboxing to production-ready. We handle physical rack mounting, RAID array configuration matched to your workload profile, operating system installation (Windows Server or Linux depending on application requirements), and base configuration including security hardening, update policies, and remote management setup. Backup configurations are established before the server goes into production — we don't leave that as an afterthought. Once the OS layer is solid, we configure application services, database engines, and monitoring agents, then validate everything with load testing before your applications go live.

Rack Setup & Cable Management

Clean rack installations make future maintenance faster and troubleshooting easier. We assemble server racks, mount equipment with proper rail kits, and run structured cabling with clear labeling on every connection. Power distribution is planned with redundancy in mind — dual power supplies connected to separate circuits where available. Cable management uses proper cable organizers and service loops so equipment can be slid out for maintenance without disconnecting anything. Every installation includes a rack diagram documenting what's mounted where, port mappings for network connections, and power circuit assignments.

Follow-up support is included in every infrastructure engagement — we don't disappear after the install. If something needs adjustment after deployment, we're available for remote troubleshooting or on-site visits as needed.

We recommend hardware based on your specific workload requirements, not vendor partnerships or reseller margins. Server specifications are driven by actual application needs — CPU core counts matched to concurrent processing demands, RAM sized for database buffer pools or application caching, and storage configurations optimized for your I/O patterns. Network equipment recommendations consider throughput requirements, managed vs unmanaged needs, PoE budgets for surveillance deployments, and future expansion. We provide detailed specifications so you can purchase from your preferred vendors or have us handle procurement.
